In summary, the conversation is about whether or not the person should take Calculus 3 as a Biology major in their senior year. The general consensus is that Calculus 3 is more enjoyable and easier than Calculus 2, and taking more math courses can be beneficial for a science major. However, some people may still struggle with Calculus 3 and it may not be necessary for all majors.

I'm a Biology major, I'm in my senior year, but I'm thinking of taking Calculus 3, in which I may use for my masters. Do you recommend this?

I strongly recommend it. Calculus 3 is actual fun and not deadly like Calculus 2.

Yeah, I also found calc 3 more fun and a little bit easier than calc 2. I'd say take it. Taking more math can never hurt for any science major.

Students vary. Calculus 3 can be just about as difficult as Calculus 2. Still, if you believe or know that Calculus 3 could be a useful tool for your work, then enroll in it when you're ready.

Taylor and Mcclaurin series did not make sense to me until I had my electronics professor explain it to me. God I hated series..

I agree ice, my discrete math professors always use to say, "well that's easier than calculus".
