Data mining or Statistical Physcs/Thermodynamics

  1. Jun 16, 2014 #1
Hi, I'm a rising senior and interested in developing nano-sensors/imaging, and I'm also thinking of going into industry after grad school.
I'm debating on whether to take Data mining or Statistical Physics/Thermodynamics and wasn't sure which will be more suited for my needs.
Both courses are only offered in the fall but if I don't take Stat. Physics/Thermo, I can take the graduate course instead next spring.
So shall I just take Data mining then take the graduate Stat.Phy or
    just not take data mining.
