Hi

What effect does the inductance value have on the ripple in the output voltage?

Higher the inductance, smaller the ripple

Thanks

Can you explain what the reason is for this?

In continuous mode ΔIout=(Vin-Vout)⋅Ton/L

Generally speaking, inductivity is inert to change of current flowing through it.

Thanks, but what do you mean by inert?
