Friend of Evo's Lands $600k Modeling Gig on Popular Game Show!

In summary: It's pretty much it. The contestant gets to keep whatever's in the case, and usually there's not that much in it.Bingo. She stands on stage and opens a brief case when someone calls out the number she is holding. The contestant gets to keep whatever's in the case, and usually there's not that much in it.

Most Americans know of this game show hosted by Howie Mandel. A friend of the Child of Evo's has just signed a contract to be one of the models that opens a briefcase and supposedly she will get paid $600,000.00. That's just sick.

I hate all game shows, one of the reasons i do not have a TV, as you say $600,000 is sick
but that is what TV has come to.

To earn that much she must have some experience, and know the physics of how those specific cases open

I would sign a contact to do that! What's wrong with that?? (besides the little niggling complication that most of the US would be really pissed to see an average-looking 55-year-old guy up there ready to open a briefcase?) I would like to have a little more clothing on than the ladies, though.

I gave my TV away when I discovered that people can get married to complete strangers on those game shows.

I'm with you, Turbo! I would SO open suitcases for $600,000!

So, Evo, is this girl at all...smart?

I know, lisab!. There are a lot of things that I wouldn't do for $600,000, but opening a briefcase a few times a week while grinning like a fox eating $hit off a wire brush isn't one of them.

And you would probably look pretty good in an evening gown!

You stop that! I'm killer in a cocktail dress and heels, but evening gowns don't do anything for me!

My prediction:

Game show gets boring in a few months maybe a year or so and gets canceled. $600k to open brief cases turns into $600 and some crack to do porn.

The thing about Deal or No Deal that's interesting to me: The game goes on until it's down to a battle between the contestant's intellectual brain, and their reptile brain. The intellectual brain says, "Stop now! Take the offer - it's $150,000 of FREE MONEY!"

And the reptile brain hisses, "Noooo, there'sssss a one-in-ssssssseven chancccce you could get $400,000! Don't ssssssstop now!"

And the person always listens to their reptile brain. And they wind up with a couple thousand dollars.

Hell yeah I would do it. When I was offered modeling contracts they actually required work and weren't that lucrative.

Love it, the Child of Evo goes "well, you missed that chance".

I'm obviously out of touch with reality here, and I'm certainly missing something, but what's the deal with the brief case?

Or is this basically some girl gets paid $600 K because she looks pretty?

Bingo. She stands on stage and opens a brief case when someone calls out the number she is holding. That's it.

All this show is about is how much people will risk for greed.

I'm trying to think of something I wouldn't do for $600,000. Open briefcase in the nude-yeah I'd do it. Hmm, help me out here

wow, someone is quick with the edit. so you'll have to use your imagination on the other things I would do for $600,000

I don't think the act of doing it would bother me, but Id be afraid to go home, because my mom would slap me silly. I like money though, and I don't watch TV, so I could easily forget it later

ooh Marisa is nice. Now all i need is $600k and a briefcase.

I wouldn't count on it being short lived. Deal or No Deal has been going on here (UK) for what seems like forever. As for the money, yes its obscene for what they do but if somebody is going to offer you that much to stand about then you're going to take it.

I'd be willing to open briefcases for only $300,000.
