1.Display on a CRT is most similar to what reconstruction filter?
2.How many samples are required to represent a given signal without loss of information?
3.What signals can be reconstructed without loss for a given sampling rate?
The Attempt at a Solution
1. Gaussian filter? I'm not sure if this is correct but I thought of this since this is the most widely used.
2. I know that a signal can be reconstructed from its samples if the original signal has no frequencies above 1/2 the sampling frequency. So is it that 2*B samples are required to represent a given signal without loss of information, where B=Bandwidth? I think I read this somewhere but I'm not sure why this is the case.
3. Not sure if this question is asking for specific signals or a family of signals.
