Homework Help: Dimensions of volume and speed

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    what are dimensions of [V]volume and [v] speed expressed as powers of length, mass, time.

    2. Relevant equations

    3. The attempt at a solution

    i thought of speed as miles per hour...but didnt come out right.

    I imagine one is supposed to use S.I. units, i.e. meters, seconds and kilograms (although to answer the above question you don't need to use kilograms).
