Distributed Loads (When to Cut)

    I'm trying to do distributed loads questions but I can't figure out when to make the "cuts". The question wants the Shear/ Bending Moment diagrams.

    In that example, I'm unsure where to make the cuts. My attempt at the problem is as follow:

    Alright, summing the forces I get

    Now, this is where I always go wrong. I have to make "cuts" but I'm not quite sure where to cut it. Any suggestions? Once I know how/where to do the cuts I know how to draw the diagrams.
