Do Hoverboards exist?

  1. Mar 15, 2010 #1
I found this article online about how hoverboards work and was wondering if it was legit: http://cvip.fresno.com/~chelz/howitworks.html" [Broken]
If hoverboards exist, wouldn't they be mass produced/marketed by now?

    Re: Do Hoverboards exist??

It is absolute nonsense. In order to use the earth's magnetic field to levitate an electromagnet, a ridiculous amount of power would be required for the electromagnet; far more than would ever be practical. The other statements regarding "gathering energy" make no sense at all.
