Does consciousness exist?

  1. Jan 12, 2015 #1
Sorry to post what seems to me a somewhat bizarre question, but in some of my discussions regarding the cancer/bad luck study I have been assured physicists do not believe in consciousness. I would assume this would need some nuance, but I just thought I would put it out in a gross manner first. Thanks

Whoever told you physicists believe that is either wrong, misspoke or you misunderstood them. I'd suggest you ask them what they meant as there's nothing more to say other than yes, consciousness exists.
