Doppler effect

    suppose i am moving in a train and at the same time playing a violin .Is the dopller effect/formulae applicable for me

    If the person listening to the violin is outside the train, yes.

    If the observer is at the platform and the train is moving with constant velocity towards him, will the observer feel the frequency change?
