I Double Limit

  1. Jan 17, 2017 #1
we need to show that lim (x,y)->(0,0) (x^2+y^2)/x+y does not exist. assume x not equal to y.
well i tried the problem by multiplying and dividing by x-y but that didn't help me much. So what can i do?
