Homework Help: Easy questions

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    Actually i want to ask something actually very easy...
    i just don't know the meaning of some words in different questions...
    firstly... multiplication of A and B means A*B right?
    how about multiplication of A by B means A*B or A/B??

    secondly... division of A by B means A/B or B/A???
    which one is at the bottom??

    thirdly... partial fraction of A over B means A/B right??

    i want to ask these questions just to justify with answer...

    please help me and thanks...

    It means A*B. The other is not multiplication.

    A/B. The one you are dividing by is on the bottom.

    Certainly "A over B" means A/B but I don't know what you mean by "partial fraction"
