    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    The kinetic energy of the particle can be written as H0 = L2z /(2ma2) where Lz = iħ d/d∅ , calculate the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of H0 , which of the energy levels are degenerate ?, why?
