Electric Power Generation

  1. Aug 1, 2009 #1
Are there any good resources for learning how Electric Power Generation works?

For example, let's say you have a deisel generator pumping 60 Hz into the Grid. I'm wondering how the physics of this works, or if there is a reference area on the internet I can learn more about this.

Or if someone can give or point to an overview on this.

    Thanks

Unless you're after something specific, I suggest you try out howstuffworks.com. If you have more specific questions, let us know.
