Electric Pressure Fomula

  1. Dec 1, 2012 #1
Hi, I saw a formula in a book in which I have confusion. Can anyone please suggest me any ref. The formula is as

    Electric Pressure = 1/2 ε0E2

Where ε0 is electric permittivity of free space and E is the electric field.
