Homework Help: Elevator Problem

    Suppose a 70kg person is in an elevator. The acceleration of the elevator is -3m/s/s. What force would the floor exert on the person? Please show work....

    Contlee, welcome to PF! Please read the rules of this forum....it is you who must show the work. Examine all the forces acting on the person and use Newton's laws. If you show your attempt, someone will assist you in your arriving at the correct answer.
