The attempt at a solution I am having problems understanding the question, particularly I don't understand what "load current" means. If it were the current that flows through the emitter resistor, than when the load current is 0 the output of the emitter follower should still be 5 volts but how can it be with no current and thus no potential drop across the emitter resistor?
