EMR waves

  1. Jan 15, 2009 #1
I have a simple question. Are EMR(electromagnetic radiation) waves deflected/affected by magnetic fields or charged particles? I think don't EMR is deflected by either, because radiation is not affected by either magnetic of electric fields. Am I right?
