Entropy and Space Symmetry

  1. A different form I conceive entropy is a result of the homogeneity of space, that since some places are more ordered than others the natural tendency is to make the whole homogeneous, or, with more random distribution of energy. Since I've never heard anything like that, is this a valid interpretation?
