Entropy of fusion

  1. Sep 30, 2006 #1
In the book, "Phase Transformations in Metals and Alloys" by D.E. Porter and K.E. Easterling on pg. 11, it says the entropy of fusion equation is

    [tex]\delta[/tex]S= [tex]\delta[/tex]H/Tm=L/Tm

    but what is L?
