Equation = Shape

  1. Jul 8, 2008 #1
    I came across this website: http://www1-c703.uibk.ac.at/mathematik/project/bildergalerie/gallery.html and was excited to see that they had a visual representation of each equation.

    I am curious however as to how they derived a shape from an equation. Any help would be appreciated.

    Can't you just use Maple to get 3D-graphs?

    I was looking for instructions on how to generate a mental image of such equations.

    That is best accomplished with familiarizing yourself with the mathematical information to be gained from those equations. :smile:
