Equations of a circular disk (bessel qn)

    I'm required to find the table of values of α given v and p in page 3.

    I tried substituting v = 0.4 and p = 5 and equation (12) directly into equation (13) to find α.

    My code is shown as below:

    >> syms x;

    >> solve((0.6-x)^2)*(sqrt(x))*((diff(Besseli(5,x),x)/(Besseli(5,x))-((0.6+x)^2)*(sqrt(x))*((diff(Besselj(5,x),x)/(Besselj(5,x))))+2*x*(1+x*((diff(Besseli(5,x),x)/(Besseli(5,x)))*(diff(Besselj(5,x),x)/(Besselj(5,x)))*0.12-((diff(Besseli(5,x),x)/((Besseli(5,x))-((diff(Besselj(5,x),x))/(Besselj(5,x))))*(0.36)/25))

    However, my code does not work.Can someone please help? Thanks!
