Equilibrium in electric force

  1. Apr 3, 2008 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

An electron is released above the Earth's surface. A second electron directly below it exerts just enough of an electric force on the first electron to cancel the gravitational force on it. Find the distance between the two electrons.

    2. Relevant equations

    3. The attempt at a solution

Don't expect to receive any help until you show us something you've done.. or something you've thought about this problem and the way in which it COULD be solved in.
