Can I Secure an EU Summer Internship with my British Citizenship?

In summary, it is possible to work in Europe with a British passport, but the process of finding a job may require attending interviews in person. However, there are also options for remote work and freelancing, and researching specific industries and utilizing job boards can help with finding job opportunities in Europe.

Hi I know some of you guys are from europe who may be able to answer my question. I'm seriously considering working in Europe (Preferably UK) after I've completed my masters in the US. However, I'm a British citizen - being born on a British territory and all (means I have an EU passport).

So what I'm really wondering is if can I get into the industry through regular internships like that and would they really accept me so easily? And if so I'm thinking the only downfall of this hope is actually having to travel around Europe doing interviews only hoping I would get accepted?

Some of your thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated thanks.

It is definitely possible to work in Europe with a British passport. However, the process of finding a job may be a bit more difficult depending on where you are located. You may need to attend interviews in person in order to find a suitable job, but this is not always necessary. You could also look into remote job opportunities or even consider freelancing. If you have a specific industry or field in mind, research companies in those areas and reach out to them directly to see if they have any vacancies or internships available. Additionally, there are many job boards and websites that specialize in helping people find jobs in Europe, so that could be another option for you. Good luck!
