Euler's formula in beam

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    in this question , ( in second photo) i dont understand that why at eccentricity ratio = 1 , P/ A is 83kPA , why the vertical line is drawn at a point between 100 and 150 KL/r to find P/A ?

    Is it wrong ? Or I left out something?

    The vertical line is drawn at the given kl/r of 104.
    You are trying to cram 4 years of engineering into 4 weeks. It won't work. Focus on the basics please.
