    String theory and quark-gluon plasma
    Authors: Makoto Natsuume
    (Submitted on 24 Jan 2007 (v1), last revised 28 Feb 2007 (this version, v2))
Abstract: We review the AdS/CFT description of gauge theory plasmas for non-experts. We discuss the low shear viscosity, jet quenching, and J/psi-suppression, which are three major signatures for the quark-gluon plasma observed at RHIC experiments.

In that presentation there is an explanation with the example of two wave traveling in opposite directions to explain of spin 2, gravity.

The following, by Gerard \'t Hooft uses the moon/earth and tide to visualize spin 2.

In order for the two examples to be equivalent then the two waves must stay 180 degrees apart.
My question for the experts: Is that correct?
