Fundamentally no! As opposed to mathematics, physical theory must be consistent with observation. For example - Newton's gravity can be described by a set of axioms, but it is not in complete agreement with observation. General relativity is a better theory, but because of inconsistency with quantum theory, it will eventually be replaced by a still better theory.

I'd say no too. Physics is *not* pure mathematics. The laws of physics are scientific laws and are, IMO, approximate descriptions (the best we have) of how nature works, as revealed to our senses (directly or indirectly). They are ultimately accepted because they are confirmed by observation and experiment - i.e., they work.hadi amiri 4 said:can physics be axiomed
