Factoring Modulo

  1. Apr 7, 2005 #1
How can I factor [tex]x^5+x+1[/tex] using modulo? I know, for example, I could write [tex](x+3)(x+5)[/tex] as [tex]x^2+x+1 mod7[/tex]. How can I go backwards with this?

    Thanks.
