Fiber Optics Project

  1. Jun 1, 2009 #1
    Hello everybody
I have my project on "Determination of some parameters (mainly the refractive index)of an optical fiber using multiple beam interference"
i need some data about :
Fizeau fringes shape derivation of an optical wedge at transmition and reflection.
    any help..?

    2 books:
    "OPTICS" By E. Hecht
"INTRODUCTION TO OPTICS" By Pedrotti and Pedrotti.

It's unusual that you need info on fizeau fringes. Your fiber optics project sounds more like an OTDR problem (optical time domain reflectometry).
