1 V = R3 , v = (0,1,1)

2 V = P2 , v = x^2 - x + 1

WHere Pn represents all polynomials of degree n

for hte first one

would any three independant vecotrs do?

like maybe (1,0,0), (0,1,1) and (0,1,0)?

is that correct?

for the second one

(1,-1,1) is the vector we have to match

could two other vectors like (1,0,0) and (0,1,1) do?

IS there a systematic method of doing this?
