Homework Help: Find V2 in Single-Phase Transformer

  1. Dec 7, 2016 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
A Single-Phase Transformer has 2000 turns on the primary winding and 500 turns on the secondary. Winding Resistances are r1=2 ohms and r2=0.125 ohms. Leakage reactances are x1=8 ohms and x2=0.50 ohms. The resistance load Z2 is 12 ohms (on the secondary side). If applied voltage at the terminals of the primary winding is 1200 V. Find V2. Neglecting magnetizing current.

    2. Relevant equations
    Not sure

    3. The attempt at a solution
Don't even know where to start.
