Finite math help

  1. Mar 6, 2004 #1
    have some questions

first, i would like to know what are the similarities and differences for the above terms..

also, a correlation coefficient ranges from -1 to 1 while correlation determination ranges from 0 to 1,

why cant the correlation determination be negative?
what cant the correlation coefiicient be over 1?

    And the "above terms" are...?

r may range from -1 to 1, but when you square it, then negative goes away. [itex](-.5)^2 = .25[/itex].
