In summary, a conversation about a man being handcuffed to a toilet in a burning motel room leads to a story of a similar incident in college where the person was tied naked to a steel post with tomato sauce and nylons over their head. The person mentions being an Honorary Grey Space Alien and someone asks how it made sense at the time and what the cafeteria lady said.

This reminds me of the time in
college when one of the cafeteria
ladies found me tied naked to
a steel post in the kitchen with
my left foot in a large pot of
tomato sauce, with a pair of
nylons pulled over my head. Made
perfect sense at the time, but so
hard to explain later.

How IS it that it made perfect sense at the time? And what did she say to you when she saw you?

So hard to explain later.

And what did she say to you when she saw you?
She said: "Hm. Reminds me of a
Motel in Witchita."

1. How did the man become cuffed to the toilet?

The man may have been intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, which can impair judgment and lead to accidents. He may have also voluntarily handcuffed himself as a prank or as a result of a dare.

2. How did the fire crew save the man?

The fire crew most likely used specialized tools to cut or break the handcuffs, allowing the man to free himself from the toilet. They may have also used lubricants to help remove the handcuffs.

3. Was the man injured during the rescue?

It is not specified in the article whether or not the man sustained any injuries. However, it is possible for injuries to occur during a rescue operation, especially if the individual is in a compromised or vulnerable position.

4. How long did it take for the fire crew to save the man?

The article does not mention a specific time frame, but it is likely that the rescue operation took only a few minutes. Fire crews are trained to respond quickly and efficiently in emergency situations.

5. What precautions can be taken to avoid similar incidents?

To prevent similar incidents, it is important to always use restraints, such as handcuffs, responsibly and with caution. It is also important to avoid using restraints while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. It may also be helpful to have a spare key or backup plan in case of accidental or unintentional restraint lock-in.
