Fix My Fuji FinePix S7000 Camera Issues

My Fuji FinePix S7000 is sometimes showing lines, or purple streaks on the LCD when I take a picture. These lines and streaks are also on the downloaded photo. Is this something that can be fixed, or do I need a new camera?
