Flow coefficient Cv value testing

  1. Oct 15, 2012 #1
Hey, Im currently doing a project where I have to calculate/(predict) the cv values of a number of valves. at the moment I am calculating Reduced Bore ball valves where water will be going through them. I am now at the stage where I need to test the valves using some sort of flow loop system to validate my calculations. However I am stuck on what equipment/set up i will need in order to achieve this. I know I will need some sort of pressure measuring device, maybe a pitot tube?

Any sort of help will be appreciated

    Thanks
