    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
A differential thermocouple with sensors at the inlet and exits of a pump indicates that the temperature of water rises 0.072F as it flows through the pump at a rate of 1.5ft^3/s. If the shaft power input to the pump is 27hp.

    2. Relevant equations
Determine the mechanical efficiency of the pump

    Welcome to the forum.

You have to show an attempt at a solution. Do not just post questions and expect an answer. Show your work and I bet someone will help you.

    Thanks
    Matt
