Fluid mechanics book for ChemE

  1. Jul 4, 2011 #1
Im a student in chemical engineering and I would like some recommendation for a fluid mechanics book, I've been using Bird's Transport Phenomena but it seems to be a bit difficult to follow it, as it skips a lot of steps.

Bird's book is a really the sort a practicing engineer keeps on his shelf for reference once he has learned the principles.

Fluid Principles by Alan Vardy will help with understanding.

Elementary Fluid Dynamics by Acheson will help with the maths.

    go well
