Fluid mechanics

    A few things I dont quite get.... about why the surface pressure distribution UPSTREAM of the separation point of a body is different to the theoretical or ideal distribution....?

    I can see why there will be a difference between the theoretical static pressure distribution but not why the surface pressure distribution upstream will change.
