I was fiddling around with Lenz's law trying to derive and eqaution for the EMF induced in a spinning circular disc, in its application to magnetic braking. I had found one in a textbook, and I got to a point where I think I was close to fully deriving it, but I am lacking the last piece of knowledge needed to fill in the gap. The derivation so far is up on the web for download http://www.freewebs.com/intricks/DiscFormula.doc" [Broken].(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Im sorry I could not post it up here, or up as a webpage but all the formula would have been a pain in the butt. This a small part of a project, but it is beyond its scope and is of little importance, and so is mainly for interest. Any help would be very much appreciated, so http://www.freewebs.com/intricks/DiscFormula.htm" [Broken].

Thanks for any help

Rich
