Homework Help: Formula help

  1. Dec 3, 2009 #1
    1. I have a formula and for some reason cant grasp it

    2. Ro + 0.4Ro = 140
    Answer is Ro = 100

    3. Ro + 0.4Ro = 140
    1+0.4 Ro = 140
    1.4 Ro = 140
    140 / 1.4 = Ro

    Is this correct

    Yes.

There is an assumed 1.0 in front of the Ro.
