In summary, The person is asking for examples of compounds with fourfold bonds and +4 oxidation state. They mention the example of a bond between two carbons and ask if it is correct and if there are any other compounds with this condition. The other person is not aware of any molecule with two atoms that have four bonds to each other.

Find something with four bonds with it. What compounds do you know have a +4 oxidation state?

hello again
i think i couldn't ask my question correctly i want to find a fourfold bond between 2 atoms

in the bond division lessons, the fourfold bond example was the bond between 2 carbons.
is it correct or not? if its correct which compund contain this condition?

A molecule of two atoms that have four bonds to each other? I don't know of any.

What are fourfold bond compounds?

Fourfold bond compounds are molecules that contain four covalent bonds between the atoms in the molecule. These bonds are formed when two atoms share a pair of electrons, resulting in a strong connection between the two atoms.

What are some examples of fourfold bond compounds?

Some examples of fourfold bond compounds include methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), and water (H2O). These compounds all have four covalent bonds between the atoms that make up the molecule.

How are fourfold bond compounds different from other types of compounds?

Fourfold bond compounds are different from other types of compounds because they have four covalent bonds between the atoms, while other compounds may have fewer or more bonds. This can affect the properties and reactivity of the compound.

What are the properties of fourfold bond compounds?

Fourfold bond compounds tend to be very stable and have high melting and boiling points. They also tend to be nonpolar, meaning they do not have an overall charge, and are therefore not soluble in polar solvents.

How are fourfold bond compounds important in chemistry?

Fourfold bond compounds play a crucial role in organic chemistry, as many organic molecules contain fourfold bonds. They also have important applications in industrial processes, such as in the production of plastics and other synthetic materials.
