Friction problem

  1. Oct 13, 2007 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    2. Relevant equations

    ∑Fx = 0
    ∑Fy = 0
    ∑Mb = 0

    3. The attempt at a solution

    ∑Fx : 0.45*Na – Nb + P= 0
    ∑Fy : 0.45*Nb + Na = 120*9.81
    ∑Mb: -0.6525*Na – 0.7*P = -529.74

plugged into simultaneous on the calculator to yeild the wrong answer. tried this method several times, changing the values. Also attempted to find any similar examples although couldnt find one. Rapidly going nowhere, help would be nice :)
