Riddle: How to Escape an Island with Lava & Gun-Wielding Boats

In summary, the conversation revolves around a scenario where the speaker is on a small island with no means of survival due to a volcanic eruption and a ring of armed people in boats surrounding the island. The conversation includes multiple suggestions on how to escape the island, such as throwing clothes in the water to distract the people and swimming away, waiting for a helicopter to rescue them, or causing chaos among the people with guns to escape on a boat. There is also a clarification on the details of the scenario, including the location of the volcano and the spelling of "island." The conversation ends with a comment about the simplicity of escaping the island and a playful disagreement.

here is one of my favorites

Ok, Imagine you are on a small island. Now, At this moment, lava is cascading down all sides of a volcano. You can not stay on this island and survive. Now, in the water surrounding this island their is a complete ring of people in boats with guns, who have to kill you if you leave land. They also have dropped a underwater circular wall that completely circles the islane so yo can't swim under them. All you have is your clothes. How do you get off the island?

Post answers in white.

Throw your clothes in the water, so they shoot them, then when they leave, swin away.

Nope!
This is a tricky one. Think of the wording.

just wanting to clarify a couple of things-
one: you say lava cascades down the side of a volcano- it this volcano actually on the island in question?
two: I'm assuming this is just a typo, but you refer to the "islane". is it supposed to say Island?

This probably isn't the answer, but is it something to do with waiting until the lava solidifies & forms some kind of land bridge?

Two choices

I feel confident about these possibilities, both of which are viable solutions:

You have two options:

One, you can wait for a helicopter that usually captures an erupting volcano. It might be a newschannel or sort. You can use your clothes to call their attention. Two, you can yell insults and slurs at the people with guns. If you start rumors or gossip, they might turn on each other and kill themselves. Then you can hop on a boat and flee.

Easy.

Stop imagining.

Well, it would be kinda stupid, but:

Swim to the boats, and they will shoot you. You will float away and then be "off the island," just like the riddle asks.

My Guess:

if there is a ring of people in boats in the - water surrounding the island - then you just leave the island on the opposite side of where the ring is. Unless you meanth ofcourse that the ring of people surround the island like the wall does?
