Understanding Energy: Is it a Physical Entity or a Property of Matter?

In summary, energy is a property of matter that can be defined as the ability to do work or cause change. It is not a physical entity in itself, but rather a characteristic or property of matter that can be transferred or transformed. Energy can exist in various forms such as kinetic, potential, thermal, and chemical, and it plays a fundamental role in many physical processes and phenomena. Understanding the concept of energy is essential in fields such as physics, chemistry, and engineering, as it helps us understand and predict how matter behaves and interacts with its surroundings.

My doubt on energy is that:- Is energy some kind of entity (ex:-heat) released by matter or the kinetic or potential property of matter itself?
