General relativity

    How do you represent einstein field equations with levi civita symbol or jacobian determinant? I saw a lot of work that involves this but I dont know how and why.

    Besides how is the jacobian determinant related to the levI civita symbol?

    This follows from the definition of a determinant. One can express the determinant of any matrix (not just the Jacobian matrix) using the Levi Civita symobol :
