Genetic Expression Patterns in the Evolution of Tetrapod Limbs

    The article in Nature is not yet available through my university's online access, but here is the abstract:

    It came out in the January 2007 volume. If you have EBSCOhost access, previous articles from the same author (Neil Shubin) are available titled "The pectoral fin of Tiktaalik roseae and the origin of the tetrapod limb" and "A Devonian tetrapod-like fish and the evolution of the tetrapod body plan." Interesting reads; those first steps out onto dry land have always been fascinating as an historical event, and one of the more intriguing questions out there in vertebrate evolution.
