Geothermal Energy to Electricity

  1. Apr 29, 2007 #1
    Hello:

I am doing research on geothermal energy and how it is converted into electricity.

    Here is a visual representation:

Pressurized steam energy from the ground + Rotational energy of the turbine + Electromagnetic energy from the generator = Electrical energy (in megawatt)

How would I represent this system of energy conversion symbolically or in terms of general physics?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
