Getting kicked out

I just got kicked out of Tesco for trying to film a music video for our infamous song, - "Tesco Tesco, Where The Best Go". I don't think they appreciated two guys wearing leopardskin capes prancing around and singing in front of a video camera. They were very nice about it though.

What places have you been thrown out of, or barred from?

I haven't been barred or banned from any place. But I have been detained by 3 national governments. I have a bad habit of showing up in countries without proper documentation.

As a young and VERY naive Marine stationed on Okinawa I actually thought the girls that pulled me into the bars liked me. When I wouldn't keep buying them drinks I was physically removed a few times. I had no idea that girls would work in a place where their job was to get guys to buy them overpriced drinks. Imagine that...my first moment of clarity was standing in front of a "buy-me-drinky" bar wondering why she said she loved me a few minutes ago and now she's yelling at me to go perform ???? on myself. It took me a few bars to actually realize what was going on.

I was once banned from a paranormal website for posting a very creative explanation of the origin of leprechauns. It may, in fact, have been the very first stupid anser I ever composed. The quetion, as I recall, was too provocative for me to resist, something like: "Hey, what's up with leprechauns? Where do they come from?"

Apparently, though, some people take leprechauns very seriously, because next time I went back, my carefully crafted, detailed history had been deleted and my password no longer worked.

I have been asked to leave from numerous places. Usually for riding bikes where they are not supposed to be ridden. For example, for some reason the university does not like it when I am grinding up their rails

I was part of a group touring the Imperial Palace in Bangkok, Thailand, when a group of soldiers with machine guns approached our tourguide, we were "emphatically" instructed to remain silent and were rather abruptly escorted out of the palace grounds, tour ended without explanation. I never did find out what happened. We had been given a list before hand of things not to do, Ladies - no knees or shoulders exposed, do not point your feet at anyone, remove your shoes before entering a shrine, dozens and dozens of things. Apparently someone ticked someone off. I always wondered if I was the culprit, although my dress was below the knees, the last few inches were open and it was possible to catch a glimpse of my knees when I walked, if you watched closely, I hadn't thought about that. If so, I screwed it up for the rest of the group. :frown:

I'm sure this was for your protection. The guards probably noticed someone not of your group pointing their feet at you.

My friends and I used to play chess all the time. We would start at a coffee house then when that closed go to a bar. After the bar closed we would go to 7-11 and set up the board on the trunk of one of our cars and play there. One night the guy who was working decided that he didn't like the looks of us and told us we had to leave. That's what you get for being a chess playing hoodlum I guess.

I had to take some ,"micro chips", for a machine in america, i was told on no
circumstance go through a metal detector, and a courier would meet me at
heathrow airport with all the documentation, he didn't turn up, so i argued
with the officials, they told me to wait at a barrier, about 15 minutes later i
was worried i had been forgotten and wondered around to find some one to
ask, when from no where two gun carrying cops rushed at me, it took three
hours of phone calls and interrogation before i was released, and to cap it all
the micro chips would not have been damaged by the metal detector.

My habit used to be turning up underage with no visible means of support. The American government et al were quite right to be concerned.

There were a few other incidents we needn't go in to.

I've become quite the model of respectablility in my old age! :approve:

Been chucked out of pretty much every pub and bar in Shrewsbury. But nowhere since I moved away. I must have mellowed somewhere along the line. Got banned from Ain't It Cool for endlessly insisting on the coolness of penguins off-topic. Commie basts done me in. Left a hole in my life. Then I found you lovely people. PENGUINS ARE THE S--T!!! Give it up for the penguins, guys... give.. it... up! Let us rotate and keep warm. Last one to tummy slide into the freezing cold water is an emu.
