Getting Xcode 4 to compile

  1. Dec 11, 2011 #1
So I want to start out by saying how terrible I am with computers. I can struggle my way through a simple program, but its a serious struggle. I am in a intro class right now and had been using a remote desktop to use the schools computers when Im working at home, those things are WAY TOO SLOW!

So I downloaded xcode4 (the whole developer pack from apples website) but I can't make anything work. I will copy and paste a code I had working on the school computers (either devC or Codeblocks) and the program will not compile. The code looks like a dang candy cane, ERRORS EVERYWHERE.

Am I missing a plugin or file pack or something? If so, know where I could get it? Its SUPER frustrating, none of my google searches have helped me, I don't even know what I should be looking for.

is anyone able to help me out!?
