    We dominated the hockey tournament!

Crushed every team, and this sure makes up for that screw up last year.

The Russians really sucked. Terrible goaltending. Ovechkin got served by Phaneuf, Weber et al. Canada was the best team in the tournament by far.

It's funny because there was a load of Russians mouthing off before the game on the hockey boards I frequent and almost all of them disappeared during and after the game.

2005 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Hockey Championships in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

    Final Standings:

    1. Canada
    2. Russia
    3. Czech Republic
    4. United States
    5. Finland
    6. Sweden
    7. Slovakia
    8. Switzerland
    9. Germany
    10. Belarus

Earlier in the round robin the US lost to Belarus 5-3. Belarus had never won a game before in the tournament's history. The US really sucked this year after winning last year.

There seem to be a LOT of sucking sounds in the US this year...

    Its ours baby!

I feel bad for last year's team. The team captain lives just down the street from my house. I would never mention it, ever.
